Maintenance Planner
## Description
This position is responsible forsuccessfully developing, planning and scheduling all Planned and Predictive Maintenance activities in the facility, and providing timely follow-up on Planned Maintenance metrics. Outstanding planning, organizing and communication skills will be necessary to develop, implement, and achieve the planned maintenance goals of the facility and the resulting improvements in OEE and Line Efficiency. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in Manufacturing Maintenance in a high speed environment with complex equipment.
* Manage the Preventative Maintenance Program including predictive maintenance, spare parts inventory and down-time trending by equipment and frequency
* Support the development, implementation and optimization of our CMMS solution
* Develop asset hierarchy and data required for fully functioning CMMS
* Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance procedures based on Equipment Manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
* Deliver an annual maintenance calendar, 4-week maintenance rolling maintenance plan and a weekly schedule by-day and by-craftsmen or operator****
* Maintain fire system and fire prevention program
* Collaborate with cross-functional groups including Production, Human Resource, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Finance to meet production targets.
* Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve machines and plant equipment to maximize efficiency via effective Maintenance practices for both Operators and Maintenance Technicians.
* Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required
* Model, for the maintenance department, a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Showcase flexibility and a "whatever it takes" attitude to get the job done right. Plan, develop and implement departmental expectations.
* Serves as safety model; promote a high level of safety awareness and continuous improvement in safety practices; provide appropriate priority to Safety work orders in the planning process.

Forklift certification
Passing of background and drug screens.
A desire to succeed and good work ethics are required.
Excellent oral and written skills.
High-energy, flexible, self-starter, hands on, comfortable with little or no administrative support.
Attention to detail and adapt to different and/or changing situations as they arise.
Dependabliltiy, always on time.
Team player with a sense of urgency and a self-accountability mentality.
College degree is preferred
5-7 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Exceptional mechanical skills/aptitude, excellent math skills, basic computer skills, experience with PC and PLC driven components.
Basic understanding of electrical, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, fabrication, or experience with using Rockwell software is preferred.

100% of work is performed in a manufacturing facility which is not climate controlled and may contain allergens.
Ability to lift as least 50 lbs.
